This rich cross is cast, gilded with 24k gold plating, and then hand-dyed to give a refined finish. The length of the chain is 134cm, and can be shortened. It is the highest decoration of a priest, and is worn on all occasions over the cassock. The right to wear this cross is vested in the archpriest-stavrophor and the archimandrites.
